NJSS was proud and honored to organize a team of runners and gather donations for the Dash for Dad / Depend 10K Prostate Cancer Awareness Race that supports ZERO, the project to end prostate cancer. Team NJSS was announced as the top fundraising team with $1,145 in donations generated for prostate cancer early detection research and free screenings for those at risk. In the state of New Jersey, Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed form of cancer for men and exceeds the national average rate.
