NJSS was pleased to partner-up with the New Jersey Center for the Book in sponsoring and providing volunteers for the New Jersey Exhibit Table at the 2008 National Book Festival. Tents full of literature, and packed with activities and over 125,000 visitors, spanned along the entire National Mall. The New Jersey Exhibit was proud to honor New Jersey native Brian Selznick and his 2008 Caldecott Award Winning Book The Invention of Hugo Cabaret. ________________________________________________________________
"It was a pleasure to work with the NJ State Society. Your volunteers were so professional and so devoted in spending their allotted time schedules fully committed to presenting the New Jersey exhibit with great style. Thank you for your participation, for your financial contribution, and for the splendid support the State Society has always given to the NJ Center for the Book. We look forward to working with you in the future."
