STAR LEDGER CARTOONIST BIL CANFIELD: WHERE IS HE NOW?
Last week, when the Chamber of Commerce train transported NJ business leaders to DC, it was appropriate to think of Bil Canfield, the editorial cartoonist who spent 25 years each at the The Newark Evening News and The Star Ledger. For many years, he also sketched the program covers for the Chamber Dinner, always including the NJ Congressional Delegation. (If you have any, let NJSS know.) Well, we found Bil in Cave Creek, AZ, still sketching, now for the Sonoran News, NJ BIZ , illustrating books, and doing portraits and landscapes (We know how to reach him).
